This site is a tribute to Ngan “Lisa”, who was born in Hanoi on February 13, 1953. She is much loved and will always be remembered.
After 3 years fiercely battling with stage 4 cancer (thymic carcinoma), on Monday 2nd September our amazing mum passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side.
Mum - I still cannot believe that you have gone! You meant everything to me and I wouldn’t be the woman I am today without your support, wisdom and love. I will miss your kind heart 💖, your selfless love 💕 and your beautiful smile 🙂.
I’m so glad that you walked me down the aisle last year 👰🏻♀️! Thank you for being the best mum, wife and grandmother that we could ever ask for! I just wish that we had more time…
We’re so sad that you never got to meet your grandson 🩵, but I promise we will tell him all about his wonderful ‘Por Por’ and how without you, he would not be here.
In Vietnamese, the word for missing someone and remembering them is the same: nhớ. I miss you so much and love you even more!
You have no more pain, you don’t have to suffer anymore, so you can rest well now.
I love you with all my heart always, until we meet again💖 xxx
The funeral service will be at The Chapel, Redstone Cemetery on Thursday 10th October 2024 at 10:30am, followed by a burial at 11:30am.
This will then be followed with a gathering from 1:00pm at Parsons Pig, Crawley to share much loved memories and enjoy some food together.
Her family invite friends to join them for both services. Please contact her daughter Lan Harcombe (07834-786598), to confirm your attendance.
Please wear smart wear plus, if you can, a small item of pink as that was her favourite colour 💖 (not compulsory)
Instead of flowers, donations in memory of Ngan (Lisa) may be given to support St Catherine's Hospice, contributed through the link on this page. Our mum spent her final three weeks of her life at the hospice and they spent every moment supporting and caring for her. We are eternally grateful for their hard work and making sure our mum was well looked after!
